Beginning early this year, google made some changes to their search ranking,   the reason cited is that google wanted to provide more relevant results, on official google blog it is estimated 11.8% search results will be affected by this update, say it another way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. Google started this change almost one year ago, and recently I see some of my ranks were lowered considerably, but almost all the ranks promoted by articles and blog posts were not affected, a few of these keywords ranked better than ever, it’s almost a sure thing that plain link building loses all it’s attraction, at least in the eye of google.

What is old way of link building any way? a lot of marketing companies did and are doing the plain link building, they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, the content on those sites will never be updated, and most of them are useless, the name link spamming are just for these sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  any links on them will be affected too. 

Let’s check out a few examples. In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I needed to rank the keyword, Tow Chain, of course with old way of link building, a lot of sites I used had too many links, and the worst thing is that those sites are linking sites only and had no content, not even crap content. I would give credit where credit is due, this linking strategy worked, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, this was the case until google made the change. Something opposite happened to this keyword, chain pullers, we promoted this keyword with articles and blog posts, not too many plain links have been built, now we have really good ranking for this keyword. Now contextual links win the battle, then what? Actually this is all about content, as long as you dole out high quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. You probably think there are already too many blogs out there, it’s not true, there will never be too many good blogs, for instance let’s examine this one, kaiya eve couture , in the beginning I just post to it casually, lately I added nice stuff left and right, now it can even rank the highly competitive keywords. As we can see, creating quality content and blog marketing is what we have to do to get great result. Say you’re building your own bogging network, something like Wheel Tie Down, then you will have a powerful weapon in your SEO arsenal.

Bottom line is that you should create great content, share the content with people, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Persistence and patience are the keys to success, nothing will automatically improve overnight, it doesn’t matter you’re doing SEO or advertising your business, let’s keep building and maintaining our blogs until end of the day. When publisinh articles, I prefer ezine, a new article will be indexed and cached in less than an hour, and some popular blogs will get your post indexed in minutes, there venues are ideal for promoting your site, here I am going to show you an article in article directory or on a blog, such as Car Tie Down, nice writing, good content, published on popular site, this article serves it’s purpose well.

One thing you can do for your blogs is to install twitter tools, sign up for a twitter account and create a new application, configure your twitter tools prpperly, then make sure every new post will post a new tweet, it’s easy and really useful, it’s a big loss if you don’t use this tool.

It was quite some time ago, I needed to rank the keyword, Car Dolly, it was old way of link building all the way, a lot of sites I used had too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. In the beginning, the ranking of the keyword in question rise pretty fast, eventually the keyword could be found on first page, this was the case until google made the change. Something opposite happened to this keyword, chain puller , we put the link in relevant context, almost no plain links, now we have really good ranking for this keyword. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? It all boils down to content, when you create unique and quality content, not only people will love to read your stuff, so do the search engines. I got nice ranking for a few realy nice keywords now. Now you can see, creating quality content and blog marketing is what we have to do to get great result. I have an old COMPAQ laptop and every time i start it up, it will go to a blue screen and say something about the hard drive. I follow the instructions it gives me but it doesn’t work. HELP!

Ask for a recovery disc from the manufacturer for that specific laptop’s model/serial number. Put the recovery disc into the disk drive (if you dont have one then buy an external one). When you see the boot screen for the motherboard (should say the laptop manufacturer’s name or something) keep pressing F8 or whatever key it is to get into the boot menu, and boot from the disk drive (should say CD-ROM or something).

As far as SEO concerned, creating quality content and article marketing is what we have to do to get great result. Now imagine you have your own blog network, something like Hitch Ball, you will have the power to push any sites up in search engines.

At the end of day all you need to do is to create quality content, publish and share with people, in the mean time advertise your business with your content, as long as you don’t stop doing this, you will win over customers and search engines.
